I could easily sit for hours gazing out to sea and watching the gulls. It’s easy to see from this pic where you got your inspiration for such a lovely haiku!
This is my favorite place upon earth. Thank you. I wish that I could be there more often.
Wishing I was in the middle of this scene!!
Oh Becca … it is a wonderful place. Thank you.
What a wonderful haiku … really in balance with that wonderful picture of orange cloud peaks.
Thank you for sharing on Tackle It Tuesday.

Your haiku is perfectly illustrated by the photo. I love the last line 🙂
Thank you Mariya.
oh how i’d love to jump right into that pic..such beauty…
Claudia … I feel as you do about this place and go as often as possible usually about every 3-4 years.
Oh wonderful. Puts me right there … which is extra nice since they are currently sandblasting the outside of our place. Yuk! Noise – dirt – dust.
Hope you are well and happy, Liz. I’ve missed reading your blog and hearing from you. Didn’t forget about you though. Thank you for your kind comment this a.m.
Hugs!
Hi Jamie … I am so much better … so much! And so full of gratitude! I am so very happy to see you. Really!
… and I you. 😉
Liz, thank you for your kind comments on my site today. You’re such a love.
This still just takes my breath away. Fabulous catch …
Such a glorious photo. I wish I could be at the beach more often too. Argh. Trying to manage it soon before the winter rains close in.
My friend you are not alone.
This poem really feels like dusk. Great imagery and fantastic photo.
Thanks Kathy. And for coming by.

Mickey Mouse … ha! You are right! Thinking about it, it is the rhythm of the waves and the sound of them slapping the shore that I long for.
